Data Accuracy
While we strive to present data faithfully, the information shown may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Raw data is sourced from government APIs that may themselves contain errors or experience outages.
- NWS alerts may be delayed or missing during high-volume events.
- USGS earthquake data is preliminary and subject to revision.
- NASA FIRMS fire data reflects satellite overpasses and may not show active ground conditions.
- AirNow AQI readings are observational and may not reflect your exact location.
